While moving house I came across another photo. circa 1991.
The HTA (High Tech airforcce) more affectionately known as the High Tech A---holes [seems I can't say that word!] mainly organised the early comabt events. They consisted of DEC employees who had access to the company intranet and ran an on-line forum using DEC Notes-files functionality. I am sure that they agrued more than we do on RCU???
Anyway we had a blast, that's for sure.
I don't need to be nostalgic however. I see new Gremlins at my local club every day. They never seem to completely go away. I still have one ready to go at a moment notice, albeit a bit beaten up.

I saw that picture you posted and it really bugged me. The picture looked very familar, but I couldn't figure out why. I just got a Gremlin from a club member and he included a few pages of instructions. I pulled out the instructions and sure enough - there was the picture. It made a lot more sense when I noticed who the author of the article was
