Here is the scenereo that shenlonco is suggesting.
So you rotate your rx 90 deg and put the boat in the water to test fate and all of a sudden your boat takes off and hits the brick wall or dock and smash [:@] need I say more. Or how about this, you run your boat till your warranty runs out and all of a sudden one day while you are running your boat in a lake you never ran it in before that has some interference and same as above.
Just take the knowledge you have, that some people have had boats get smashed because of a radio glitch and that some people have not had problems at all and make the decision of what you want to do.
