Here is my AA hydro. Used stock AA gear but had to go to slightly larger pager motors to get it to take off from the ground. Never tried it off water as I don't think in would have had near enough power to over come the water "sticktion".

Flew real nice though and could be flown easily in a small gym.

I made the battery inside adjustable on a slider to change the CG. This and adjusting the elevator trim would greatly effect the speed and how sharp it would turn.
