Congrats on your purchace. If you look back to the first page you will see I am the guy that had a WM Ultimate 40s built but never flown. Well I have since flown it and I have a sideways mounted OS .50-sx on the nose with the pitts style slimline muffler and it is swinging a 13x4 APC... way to much engine for this plane... I love it! Your .46 will be ideal. I had to mount my battery in the fusalage behind the wing for ballance. As far as the throttle linkage I just set up my motor mount to the firewall and did one of those, "that looks about right" marks and drilled the hole. It works great. This bipe hauls tail feathers and does a blinding snap roll. It will land at a reasonable speed but I recomend use of exponential on the elevator so it is not to pitch sensitive on aproach... my maiden flight looked like a roller coaster ride.
