Default RE: pull starters

Pull starts are notorious for giving problems, whether its broken strings or one way bearings. You either live with it or get a starter box. I have some pull start engines and generaly I get reasonable life out of them, but ocassionally I have to replace parts. The trick is to use it as little as possible. Get the engine to start in 2-3 tugs and don't be pulling on it for 5 mins at a time.
