Default RE: ACCIPITER .120 ARF

My Accipiter arrived yesterday. For a pattern pilot it’s a disappointment. This is not a pattern plane! But having said that I must say it’s a beautiful plane. I am thinking of excuses to keep it but at this stage my priority is to find a replacement for my sportsman plane. The fuselage looks a lot like a Genesis but the rest looks like it’s copied from a Funtana S. The bottom is a bright orange and dark blue, this should look stunning, and you will definitely not get confused about what side you looking at. The engine mounts at a 45 degree angle so that the muffler is at the bottom. And this is an advantage over the Funtana because it can use an OS91FX with a standard muffler without mods or extensions. The 91‘s muffler fits nicely in a cavity made at the bottom of the fuselage. Because of the way the engine mounts I think it will be easy to fit a tune pipe, but it will be open. The handbook says it is designed to use a 91 two-stroke or 120 four-stroke.
