Big Bingo...anyone ever fly one? Question please...
I have a Big Bingo with a ST 3000 for motivation. Engine has always run well, except when the fuel filter was plugged once. It's a great running engine which produces moderate power. It gets just over 7000 RPM at full throttle. I use a 18 x 8 Zinger and for fuel I cut regular 5% sport fuel with equal amounts gas line de-icer. (we need this stuff up north). Makes for cheap fuel and I have never had any problems with under lublication. There must be over 20 gallons through it by now. It's a great flying sport flyer. If I had to do it over again I would chop two panels off each wing to improve the roll rate. The aluminum straps on mine look like pieces of aluminum siding with two holes drilled in them. I painted them to match the plane so they wouldn't be too obvious.
