Sig Caps 231 EX 3D control throws
Try to get as much deflection as you can from the surfaces BUT make sure you use the strongest servoes on the rudder and ailerons. I broke a couple of "jr ultra precision" 90 in-oz servoes on these surfaces and switched to 140 in-oz servos with no problems so far.
With the radio equipment on, frequently check that your servos offer maximum resistance if you try to manipulate the control surfaces. With the power off, make sure that these same servos feel and sound smooth (no clicking or with dead zones) when rotating them by hand.
Also check the fuselage structure just aft of the firewall.
Have, fun!
BTW, what engine do you have on the CAP?
