I haven't built a Magic -so I don't know the intended use of the clear tubes BUT
I've seen ny-rod put in a stab & fin for kevlar thread to run through to make flyin-wires.
You just drill a hole the size of the tube - ca it in place and cut it off flush. Then when you run the thread thru, it won't cut into the wood.
