You must take peoples comments within context, and if you do this these polls are useful. For example; Back when I flew pattern (.61/1.20 days) I was a OS guy and flew a Hano/Hitori combo. It made fun of the YS guys with their "long strokes", and pressure fuel system. Despite this OS/YS friendly argument, when it comes to 4cycles I would choose a YS 1.20 over a OS any day cause they made more power for their weight! So, in asking what’s better Axi, Hacker or Himaxx I’m not looking for raw numbers, I'm looking for the one or two replies that say "Well if you want pattern you should get X motor cause it will out perform the other, but if you want longer flights and aren't so concerned about power then you want this one." Or “get the himaxx for the gear drive”. So guess what! I got that info making your clamed invalid. Seams that Hacker has more power to weight, where the Axi has better efficiency and no one said I should consider the himaxx for the gear train yet. Since I want raw power, I know what I will choose.
