Default RE: Axi or Hacker?

I agree on your thought about how this should work. Just seems to end up going the wrong direction most times. I'm saying this with a calm tone, not trying to start any junk.
You may have this in the wrong forum asking about the planes you are planning these motors for. Probably should be in the 3d electric forum.
That being said, I have a Fliton Inspire Mini with a Axi 2808 and a Extreme Flight Extra with a Axi 2814 with great power.
For pattern I use the Axi. Can you see that I have a biased opinion?
I have used the Himax's also. I can say I will never go back to a gearbox. They have good outrunners though.
Hacker makes great motors also. You can't go wrong with either.
If you do a search on your planes, you will find what people are using in them. Best way to make the decision IMO. Also search rcgroups..
I don't feel there is an advantage going with one motor over the other in the smaller planes. Except maybe weight.

Good luck with your new planes!!
