RE: 1/8 Scale Armor
I have an RC Armory 1/8 KT too. It's one of the first produced in the 90's and I've made several upgrades including metal track, drive sprokets and idlers.
I believe RC Armory offers figures for $85 and another fellow offers some accessories (see RCArmory.com).
The 1/8 is definately a good compromise in price compared with the quality 1/6 stuff out there. And, it's very manageable, although they still tend to take special care in lifting and moving about -- mine fell from a work trolley and bent the barrel, but everything about it is repairable.
The 1/16 scale is great fun but, there's nothing like the larger scale in realism.
I may try a 1/6 scale that RCArmory is building (StugIII, so not too big to handle). It may be offered as early as this summer.
Cheers...
