What you bought is more of a toy than anything else.

It has two channel operation, that gives you throttle - increase throttle you rise, decrease you fall, and rudder to turn. Your control is really only on one acis. This will be a fun little toy for a while, do not fly it near any trees, or in any kind of wind. You will not have much control on the single axis.

You may soon find it is not realy enough for you and you will look at a glow trainer - this is how I got started. Once you find out how much more control you have on a more advance model you will wonder why you bought that little two channel job in the first place.
