I'm eying one of the Jett Fire 60L(15000RPM version) for a Bridi Escape...I thought I'd call him for a recommendation when the time comes...Apparently he's very knowledgeable/helpful...

Chuck,
The 60LX is not suitable for the Escape. Consider the 60LX a "46 on steroids". It is a powerful engine, but it is a .46 size case, and prefers to run with 9 and 10" props.
For the Escape, either a SJ-90L or FIRE-90L would be ideal. These are physically "60" size engines. Although I am not certain if this will meet the BPA rules that are being outlined (requiring 10cc engines).
