I come from the RC electric airplanes world, and think that the tank hobby is much more relaxed and rewarding than its cruel and costly airplanes counterpart
Your quote "when they have all the tanks that they could have wanted" is for me totally wrong, I NEVER shall have all the tanks I want...[>:]. Think of the Tigers, Panthers, Pz IIIs, PzIVs variants, just a mere 20 tanks talking of 1:16 scale and without going in deep...and that's just for Axis tanks!, then there are the allied tanks, cold war ones, Vietnam war, today models, aaargh!. And they don't crash like airplanes, so you can always re-work or re-paint them....Think of it as a never-ending story, enjoy
