Default RCV 120

Otto, I would like to thank you for the information you gave me on the telephone, IE: starting the 120 with or with out the starting prob, not only did you save me a little money for not having to purchase the prob, but your information on making sure the engine is very wet prior to trying to start the engine will make things a lot easer now that I know that the engine likes to be wet, this is just the opposite from my other FS. and now I don't have to put a hold in the cowl for the prob knowing that I can start it by hand.

Having a REP, on line is out standing the first 120 is going in the TF T-34, I will be calling for the 90 to go into a Byron T-34, I went with the RCV because it is the only FS that will fit in the cowling with out cutting a big hole in the side for the head to stick out, TF said that a FS will fit under the cowling, this is not true unless you want the head sticking out of the side. I have several hundred hours flying the full size T-34 during flight training in the Navy and during retirement I was the manager for one the Navy Flying Clubs, I had three T-34's on the flight line and put 10-20 hours a week flying the T bird and not a single one of the full size T-34's I have seen has had the head sticking out of the cowl. So you guys out there that are planing on building a TF T-34 keep in mind that the RCV is the ONLY FS engine that will fit totally under the cowl.

Thanks, again for the help, I will let you know how the 120 works out in the T-bird.
