Hello Gents
If you have not visited the RCV Engines Tech Support thread, I am taking a poll on what size of RCV 4 cycle CD series engines would be the most desired by "YOU". At the moment we have the .58 and will soon release the .96. next size which you would like to have.
Please respond to this poll only in one thread not both!
Thank You
Otto Kudrna RCV Tech Support
The picture you are looking at is the RCV.58CD. This engine is 66mm tall from center line to top of head, that is less than 2 5/8".
The up-coming RCV.96CD will be 81mm tall, that is less than 3 3/16" and YES these are 4 cycle engines.

How about something on the line of a 2.5 ci. Sometimes a Saito 180 or YS 140 just aren't big enough and twins/ multi cylinders are two much weight for their HP.

Gentlemen
Hard to believe that only about a dozen people would be interested in a new engine. Please come on the RCV tech support thread and let us know what size four cycle engine would interest you. PLEASE! We can produce a new engine in about 18 months from time of conception. TELL US WHAT YOU WANT http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...25&forumid=157]

Otto, I would like to thank you for the information you gave me on the telephone, IE: starting the 120 with or with out the starting prob, not only did you save me a little money for not having to purchase the prob, but your information on making sure the engine is very wet prior to trying to start the engine will make things a lot easer now that I know that the engine likes to be wet, this is just the opposite from my other FS. and now I don't have to put a hold in the cowl for the prob knowing that I can start it by hand.
Having a REP, on line is out standing the first 120 is going in the TF T-34, I will be calling for the 90 to go into a Byron T-34, I went with the RCV because it is the only FS that will fit in the cowling with out cutting a big hole in the side for the head to stick out, TF said that a FS will fit under the cowling, this is not true unless you want the head sticking out of the side. I have several hundred hours flying the full size T-34 during flight training in the Navy and during retirement I was the manager for one the Navy Flying Clubs, I had three T-34's on the flight line and put 10-20 hours a week flying the T bird and not a single one of the full size T-34's I have seen has had the head sticking out of the cowl. So you guys out there that are planing on building a TF T-34 keep in mind that the RCV is the ONLY FS engine that will fit totally under the cowl.
Thanks, again for the help, I will let you know how the 120 works out in the T-bird.

Thank You
For the vote of confidence. I just want to remind you that by the third quarter of this year we will have a new 96CD series engine which is more the conventional design, but is only as tall as the OS 60FP 2 cycle.
Thank You
