I don't use flaps - so I set the flap switch to be OFF at center - high throttle trim at 0 and low throttle trim at 2. bumping it whilst flying is a problem only if you are at bottom of stick travel- otherwise - start is center position - 0 is a slight throttle up - 2 is throttle cut.
It is all predicated on having the trim set at center beep -so I can make minor changes as desired
