surf,

What I normally do is hold a ruler vertical to the TE of the control surface and then move the stick both ways and adjust everything machanically as close as I can get it and then If it needs a little tweaking I use my end point adjustment. You don't have to be exact on the measurements, just get it close and once your in the air you'll know if you need a little more or a little less and once you land you can use your end point adjustment again. Don't forget to set your Expo.
