I started having this problem as well, and yesterday it happened again. I keep breaking the GS201 (14 tooth bevel gear for the diff outdrive) this is the third one in 3 tanks. When it breaks it stays in place so things seem to be ok on the surface, if you pull on the outdrive a little youll see that it pulls out just a little. I ve never had any internal diff problems until now and having to completely rip into it when it happens takes a lot of time. I upgraded my genny diffs to the aluminum cased diffs with those massive GSS10 shafts and drive cups only to develop this as an achilles heel. Anyone else breaking this bevel gear?
