Default RE: Jet Fest day in England!

Ehab

I'm not scared!

OK They are very different..and the same!
The Flash comes out a good 4-4.5lb heavier than the ARF Bandit, but the thick wing means that the Flash still flies very slowly without falling out of the sky-The smaller flaps/spoiler on the Flash are not very effective when compared with the ARF Bandit flaps, which are very good.
The Flash/Bandit speeds are very similar, both fast and slow speeds end up very close, but the Flash needs time to slow down.
The Flash elevator response is much sharper than the Bandit, so even with lots of expo the Flash turns on a dime with little stick movement.
General handling in aerobatics at speed are similar, little/no roll couple in knife edge, the same sort of snap feel/speed.
I like the feel of the Flash in wind because of the heavier wing loading, it maintains energy better in windy weather.

Really the biggest difference is the elevator response-sharp on the Flash, soft on the Bandit. Flaps soft on the Flash and sharp (powerful) on the Bandit.

Price makes the Flash a No brainer for many customers!!
