14 MZ Program Mix Question
On the 14 MZ Program Mix screen, next to the buttons where you select the Master and Slave, there are two blank boxes (or buttons). There is one to the left of the Master button and one to the right of the Slave button. If you push the blank boxes they change from blank to a "+" and if you push again it changes to "-."
The manual says that these perform a "link" function and the + or - selects the direction.
I don't understand what the link does. For example, I have two elevator servos mixed (one elevator servo is the Master and the second elevator servo is the Slave). I have the button to the left of the Master button with a "+" . However, when I have another mix that mixes the rudder as the Master and the elevator as the Slave, only one elevator servo is affected by the mix. It takes an additional mix to move the second elevator servo slaved to the rudder (I thought it would require only one rudder to elevator mix because the elevators are linked). If it merely changes the servo direction, why wouldn't you just change the direction in the Servo Reverse menu?
Can you give a more thorough explanation of what the + or - means and what hey actually do?
Thank you for your help!
