The bec is in the SuperVee's esc so you don't need one in the receiver or a rx battery. Just replace the SV rx with the new fm rx and you are good to go. My sugestion is the hitec DCX. It's the only 3 channel dual conversion rx I know of. With the DCX you will have no more glitches and it's inexpensive. Tower has it or your LHS will probably be able to get it.
