That's scarry. Flying a model airplane in a park with other people all around without insurance? That's an accident looking for a place to happen. This sport/hobby is fun but it's not worth that kind of risk. Find a club field or a designated area for this type of activity. BTW, if you intend to stay in this hobby...get some insurance...AMA's real cheap, (that have a great deal for first time members) and comes with a magazine, so there's no excuse not to have any, (www.modelaircraft.org).
