hi i recently bought a rc 4 channel zero. I flew it so far four times each resulting in a crash due to CG balancing. Heres some pics . the longest flight time i have to now with the zero is 43 seconds. Yep i suck but im learning. After adjusting the CG, i got teh plane to fly until the bat shut off at 2 mins. I might need to upgrade my battery pack. it flys at 35 mph. but it doesn't have retract so it doesn't look that nice in the air

i had one of those, by the time i retired it, it had been glued so many times, it looked like it was made out of glue. flew fine though. i took the landing gear off and hand launched it. it kept nosing over on me. that GWS landing gear isnt too strong.

Keep trying, you're getting there. Devil's right. Lose the landing gear and hand launch. Also, find yourself an instructor or get a simulator. Both are well worth the time and you'll enjoy yourself alot more. I'd be careful in the park with all the joggers around... Do you have insurance or are you an AMA member?
Good luck and safe flying!

Learning with a real trainer and instructor would be a really intelligent idea before he hurts someone. There are way too
many people buying these cheapo fom airplanes and thinking that they can just teach themselves to fly. WRONG!! especially
crazy to do in a public park being used by children and other people.[:@]

I 1000% agree. Exuberance often takes the place of intelligence in this sport with newbies and seems to have done so here. Backup, regroup and get an instructor and insurance. If you watch that video, during one of his failed take-off's there's a female jogger running by along with many other people scattered around the park.
His mind is on his CG when it should be on other's safety. Most everyone in this hobby is safety minded and if they aren't it doesn't take long to get them that way due to some incident or other occuring. I say abort until a safe location to fly is found along with good instruction. Join a club.

Poncho will learn when that plane either removes a finger or when his dad is faced with a lawsuit for trying to fly that thing in a totally inappropriate area.
Do yourself a favor and get an instructor to help you set it up correctly and learn the difference between up and down, right and left before you continue.
