Default RE: Which one would YOU choose?

fadi81 i am using digitals on ailerons and elevator and hi torque on rudder. I would change the hardware it comes with. I put 4-40 rods on mine with metal clevises. its kind of weird there is two different funstars almost identical, do you have one with a blue pilot or a green pilot?. the blue one is a little longer and the green one is a little shorter but only by 1-2 inches. Check all the hinges that they are in for good, it doesnt bother dropping some thin CA in the hinges. After you put the CA you need to work the control surfaces because they are going to be stiff from the glue. My CG is at about 4.8inches back from LE. I like it AFT but for your first flights it should be from 4 inches to 4.5 inches. On high rates i have it as much as they can go (140%) on my 7CAP and around 70% on low rates. Props that work good on this plane are 12.25x3.75 and 12x4.

P.S. change your main wheels and tail wheel there crap. also put CA on the wheel collars because they vibrate very easy. On my maiden i lost both wheels!n Dont forget to put some color on the plane to tell the difference of up and down. Ive assebled two of these planes so if you run into trouble anywhere shoot me a PM.

Hope this helps
