Default RE: When will we see the Losi 8ight???

ORIGINAL: Losi8racer

ORIGINAL: A.B.U

Does it have good low end, and considerable top end?
it has an amazing bottom end...i run the black and green springs with medium weight shoes , if it idles high , like when the engine is cold it will grab already... top end on this thing is nothing short of an WS7III , P5 , it keeps up with them on the straight ... i run the exact same lap times as the guys with the high end italians... and on tracks like the farm II , in charlotte NC , it will keep up with them aswell... it has all the internals of a great modded engine, balanced and epoxy fileld crank, modified/cut sleeve ,dish/chamfered piston and turbo head.. dadders on dadders.net said it outshines teh rossi black magic but almost looks identical to it...

i'm very happy with it , and i used to run a modded WS7III on my buggy ... i'm gone all the way over to STS now , i got rid of my last RB engine about a month ago.. i got 3 STS D21T's now... 1 brand new in box, the other is broke in and the one on the buggy has about 3 gallons on it right now...

pinch you say ?... it was 47 degrees outside yesterday and i had to pull out my heat gun to warm the engine cause my OFNA chrometop wouldn't turn it over... (3 gallon engine)

That engine is a peice of art work, heres a thread with pics of the internals.
