It's going on a CMP Giles 202 (Post-3). I know the firewall will need triming like in your Post-22 (pic) above. I plan on putting a heat shield (flashing) to keep the epoxy from getting soft. I think I have just 5 1/2" from what I messuered.

Like your idea on the adjustable motor mounts. Scott mentioned to me he had thought about an adjustable slider mount. The new ones may be just that, if they don't interfere with muffler sides.
