The Entire side of the fuselage is upposed to be sheeted with crosgrainsheeting from behind the doubler to the tail. I choose to just use a capsrip method to space the siding enough to make up for the missing sheeting. this takes a little strength away but without the vibration of a thumping IC motor we fiured it would be ok
here is a little shot of what i am refering too.

Well, just went searching fo the picture and it is not so great, i will post anyways but sorry for that! Basically, whereever there was a former , joint, top or bottow of fuse, i put a cap strip of balsa to space the fuse side the proper distance out and allow the doubler to fit properly.
