RE: Alpha 60 Fuel Line bubbles on prime
I changed all the lines, plus the reason the tank was loose, is the hole that the tank stopper fits into was too small, not cut out to fit, so it did not fit in the hole, some yahoo at Hanger 9 just shoved the tank up against the firewall, plus the vent was towards the bottom...upside down, the plane still has air in the lines and doesn't run...I think the stopper might be defective too, it comes out of the tank real easy, engine is not tuned since it will not start or will start temporarily sometimes and not continue running, air in the lines as soon as you prime it...pretty crappy build and quality control on this airplane from Hanger 9 I must say. The plane arrived with the switch in the on position and battery drained, the engine has never run, always has air in the lines as soon as you prime it, hole for the tank stopper not cut right so tank stopper does not fit in hole and tank just slops around, stopper upside down with vent upside down, problems with a tail screw not fitting right and the nut in the tail shearing out of the wood...so I glued in the tail and used a wood screw...I think Hanger 9 must have had a bunch of 2 year olds putting this plane together!
Alpha 60 Hanger 9 RTF ...Ready to FLy, just replace parts, cut holes and make shims, replace fuel lines, put in your Hobby shop for tuning and replacing of more parts, wait a few weeks then just add fuel and you are Ready to FLY!
