I have flown both the Dave Platt and Yellow 1/5 scale Spitfires and they are very easy fliers. I did not have any ground handling problems with either of them but neither was over powered which probably helped. All indications are that the Pica kit is a great flyer also but I think a G-62 would be overkill for it. I've seen one fly very well on a G-38. I know guys have jammed the G-62 into the Yellow kit but it looks awful with all that motor sticking out all over (IMHO). However, for down right ease of construction the Yellow kit is a great choice. Best of luck with whatever you decide.
