I think Kmot mentioned that Futaba is also about to release a 2.4ghz system.
I think they are trademarked as FSST, so there will soon be more options out there.
Not as many "channels" as you are proposing, but 2.4ghz may eventually overtake
the FM frequencies the way FM ruled over the AM band.
