I just bought one of these things recently, and I was a little concerned about mounting it inside the fiberglass, painted fuselage.
Todd, I noticed yours was pointing up into the free stream, but are there any known problems with reception at long range inside the fuselage? I've run these in heli's before without problems, but I fly heli's pretty close --- as compared to the long sweeping pattern of jets.
I have also heard that the receiver should be re-tuned after installing. True? Waste of money?
