Default RE: BoB Wilcox Intructions for Hotspot

Depending on the powerplant (ie, if you're planning to overpower it!) and how heavy a thumb you fly with, you might want to put some additional attention to the fin and wing fastening area. Many have modified the kit such that the wings are bolted through the fins and into the fuse. Sandwitching the fins between the wings and fuse creates a near bulletproof connection and will limit the chance of your fins fluttering at high speed.

I went a step further and bolted the fins to the fuse, then the wings through the fins, and into the fuse. I didn't like the look of the bolt holes in the top of the wing surface, so I built it to take the bolts from the underside of the fuse. Its very stiff and I'm quite happy with the results. I've got some photos I can email you if interested, if so, PM me with your address.
