Check and see if your radio has a kill switch. This way you don't have to keep changing your throttle trim. I have a Hitec Flash V, which has this feature.

On computerized radios, the trims are frequently digital push-buttons. In this case, an engine kill switch is desireable. With manual trim tabs, using the trim to kill the engine is easy. Setup the engine for full throttle and idle while trim is all the way up, then kill the engine by moving the trim all the way down.
