AMA insurance?
Exactly. Most homeowner's insurance will only pay a few hundred thousand, IF AND ONLY IF they actually cover you flying an R/C airplane on someone else's property. Check your homeowner's policy first and make sure before flying. Many don't cover R/C.
IIRC, the AMA's coverage is $1 million for individuals, but only if you aren't tresspassing or flying in an unsafe manner, i.e. not following the AMA safety code.
But then, the AMA isn't just insurance.
