I tried to get a semi-definitive answer from the docs at the AMA website, but I'm having trouble downloading the .pdf file on insurance.

I'm starting to fly an r/c floatplane on a (county-owned) public lake. Does the AMA insurance cover this, and do I need permission (written??) to fly from a public lake?
