Just a quick one...

When looking at covering, I see a lot of designs. I know some kits come with decals but what I wonder is all the color designs with multiple colors on a plane... Are those just strips of monokote cut up and then ironed on? For example, this picture I got from the gallery..



All the different colors, are they just different monokote pieces stuck over the bottom main color? I n other words, can I design a plane with a scheme of multiple colors and just buy the different monokote colors and then cut them up into pieces I need and stick them on the main covering?
