My first jet was a twin F-15, 38 Lbs wet, with 45 Lbs of thrust. Just terriffic! Ballistic in the true term..
However, a SR 71 is quite anoter story..

The stability in the aileron axis of this model, of far from what you want to be a starter in your career. Diving into gyros and such to compensate, is faaar from your level at this point.
Skills need to have some real jet-airtime before you decide for this model. (!)

My advice, is to take a few step backwards, and aim forward to it later on. Find a stable model, such as a F-15, F-16, or a Boomerang XL. All those can get you airborne in just a blink.

Dreams and reality tends to make some gaps now and then, so this is a advice to you.. I know all about it. and I have done it the looong way, the safe way.

If you take my advice, I know you will understand after you have done your lessons. Then get back to the aims you had..[8D]
