MRC went to the dogs a long time ago. Too bad some good products went down with them.

Having worked in retail sales off and on for much of my life, I can tell you that some customer groups are very low maintenance and some are very high maintenance. Model airplane folks tend to be high maintenance, as do amateur radio folks.
If someone buys a toy for the kids and it breaks, they usually trash it and buy them another one. Ditto radios, TVs, computers, etc. There is no one at the store counter trying to order obscure parts for an engine that was made ten to twenty years ago with the customer insisting that they must have that part. Not only that, but how do you install it? Is it any wonder that when a distributor has an opportunity to make just as much money, or more, selling products with low maintenance customers, that they do so? I think not.
