From experience I can tell you that hacking off the top half of the tail fin and fixing it the the rudder as a counter balance adds a BUNCH of rudder authority. I've compared side by side this mod to one like yours and the counter balance was considerably more effective (if you're looking for knife edge authority). I did both counter balance and trailing edge mods on my new SSE. Also added removable side force generators and bashed the elevators too. Pull pull cables on the rudder and aft mounted the elevator servo (I did this on my last SSE and it worked awesome).

Color scheme... hmmm..... well how 'bout a BudLight or MillerLight scheme? lol [8D]

Regardless what you do with your SSE.... I'm sure you'll like the plane. It's a good all around sport plane... and if you over power it... it'll be a sport plane with a bad attitude.... [>:]
