Default RE: Modeltech Cap21 arc???

I HAD a Lion Cap 21 with a 64 or 65" span using a Magnum 65. It had more than enough power to lift off in less than 20'. The Lion's were preprinted foam board and had the cg embossed on the fuse side. I balanced it 1/2" ahead to be safe; it wasn't. Needed to be another 1/2 to 3/4" more. The 10 second maiden(last) flight was after I had trimmed both ailerons up to create washout and slow a stall. Your's will surely be heavier, but a 90 2c would be more than enough. The last thing you want is a heavy flying plane that can stall easy or might be the slightest tail heavy. You can put on a 120 or 210 that will pull it straight up, but you'll have to slow down sometime. Make sure you fudge their cg suggestion forward and raise the ailerons about 3/16". I've also had and traded off a GP 60 size 231 and it was so much better flying with a Magnum 80 4c. As you can tell, I'm an advocate of flying on the wing and not being yanked thru the air with a big prop.
Good luck and take a lot of preflight photos.
