I did not have mine just fall off but I did have a very smooth off field landing into high grass that promptly removed the front of the plane at the first former and when I took a close look there was very little glue in some places an no glue in others. I took pics and sent them in after talking to a service manager and they promptly sent me a whole new plane. But then that was well within the warranty period at the beginng of spring last year. So in a way, they have seen this before

I agree that trying to do a maiden in the winter months is not the easiest thing to do and maybe with some very nice and pleasant conversation (AKA kissing a little butt) you may just end up with a new one
