RE: Installing Blade CX2 Battery?
I install my battery with the wires toward the tail. SOOO much easier to connect the plug. And most of the time my battery gets caught about 1/4" from being all the way in.
For whatever reason, the battery goes in just a little crooked. It slides in through the aft battery brackets, but it hits the front battery bracket and stops. Since I know what it is now, it just takes a slight twist of the battery and it seats just fine. I'm right handed and the battery hits the right front bracket.
Since I got the Boomtown boom from Jamie, I find that my balance is off a little (just a bit toward the front), so I need to get into the battery bracket and put a spacer in so the battery sits a little farther back. And with the Version 3 kit from Boomtown, the rubber ring that stabilizes the tail routes through the battery bracket and helps hold the battery stable. I don't even worry about the Velcro pad.
Now you know as much as I know about it. Don't ya feel special?
