I have just built a 27% Extra 260 from a kit, foam core simmetrical wing. Then, at the end of construction with everything installed, I have put the plane on a scale and calculated the wing loading. I found an unexpected 35 ounces per square foot!!
Calculation is correct, beyond any doubt, and now the problem is how to make her fly. Through the radio setting, I have got the option to use the flaperons since I expect that I need to ease and slow down landings somehow.
What could the proper flaperons throw be for this plane? Or else, any other suggestion here?
