Default RE: Modeltech Cap21 arc???

ORIGINAL: cap10b

Ed,
I flew a old Model Tech Cap 21 with flaps on a YS120 years ago. Clocked it out of a shallow dive at 130 mph. Seems at one time I also install a Webra Bully (2.0, 35cc) with a 16x8 Graupner 3 blade propeller. She flew like a scalded ape and landed gentle with flaps. That plane had no bad habits other than dont be pulling hard elevator wtih the nose pointed down and motor running.... you will find out the true meaning of Beyond your flying skill.

Good plane wish I had one.

I knew several other people that were flying them and enjoying them "back in the day". They are not a good model for one's first low wing model. <G>

They were designed to fly the Aresti pattern and that they did well. If one's skills aren't up to the task of flying such a plane, this is not the model with which to acquire them. It is a serious aerobat's tool with no quarters given.
