The bloke you are talking about is "Phil Vandries" and for me was one of the best!!
It was sad to see his model crash on such a cracking low knife edge pass!! but from what I can gather he quite likes it
Paul Skinner announced it the "Best 3 d plane of this size he has ever flown"
Sandown is a real To***t to fly at. Phil was I am affraid the victim of a lesson learnt to all of us. His model was built well, but without the instructions!! It is very easy to overtighten the wing bolt plate. Hence the instructions say "To pack out the plate to avoid over tightening" Might have been handy in hindsight to have sent Phil the instructions
Lowest and best prophang goes to Phil. Lowest torque roll went to Paul Carr

The rudder was touching the matt!!!
Fastest harrier goes to Paul Skinner (boy his planes on steroids) C.P.L.R well he gets the honour of the lowest knife edge pass. I swear it was less the 6" off the deck at one point

If you allow for the s**t conditions I would have to say the team was simply top drawer.
