Default Long time no speak

Hi there everybody.......

Guess what, I found myself in the UK for a 4 day stop so I went along to your Sandown show....... mainly to see CPLR but also out of curiosity for the Capiche. It was pretty good weather for the spectators all weekend but clearly not so great for the pilots some times - I saw the wind flag going in all sorts of directions.

It was definately worth the 9 pounds entry fee and my hat goes of to you brits for doing such a great job in such a small place.

Anyway, I dropped in to compliment the Capiche boys........ excellent display - matbe you need to rehearse a bit more together, it seemed a bit chaotic sometimes but that is a terrific airplane you have there.

I really felt for the guy in the wheelchair, that was a bad spot to loose your engine.... but it was nice to see the planes being flown by pilots in a normal way aswell as a 3D way....

I liked the harriers as you call them, expecially when the guy with the red and white one had a race with the boy's Capiche I think... he came flying past real fast - he must have up aileron mixed in I think. I saw another plane in the Supertigre slot harrier right onto the run way - that was a good move and Im sure it was a Capiche too but the PA guy didnt seem to be saying much at the time and I was up in the stand so I could see properly for sure... only saw it once and didnt see it in the Capiche slots so maybe it was somthing different?. We clapped anyway.

I had to laugh when the guy on the PA said it wasnt a fun fly, and one of the guys came in and hovered/prop hanged right down to the grass! I have checked out the website and seen the section and I agree its not fun fly but it surely does a good impression of one, but with the advantage of better penetration in the wind like an aerobatic model. You guys should organise a Mini Freestyle competition like the TOC, but for small planes - those 2 metre planes like CPLR are great but cost a lot of money...

One of my favourite bits was watching the boy.... still think you got a nice bum.... and was surprised how easily I could identify you from your picture posted on one of the other threads somewhere way back. Was gonna give ya a shout but I was a bit shy and my husband was with me too and he gets a bit funny about me chatting to the lads.

Anyways, I have to go, Im in Paris France now and due to leave this afternoon.... I just wanted to say that I thought the Capiche was fantastic stuff.... now when do we get to see it in the US?
