Before I started using MonoKote one of my Sticks was good old silk and dope. It was metallic blue with wide red and white bands on the outer part of the wings and the front of the fuselage. I made the stab removable so I could take it with me on trips. One trip all the way from Seattle to Dayton. The wing, stab, and main gear bolted on with nylon bolts. I flew it so many flights that used up two Webra 61 Blackheads. I still have a set of Jenson plans from one of the kits.
