here is a very bad drawing for someone else that asked the same quiestion...

basically cut a slot for the bolt that holds the wheel and slide the spat down onto it and tighten up... that way if you do have a bad arrival the spat should twist or come off rather than rip itself to pieces.


works for me...
and easier to fit.
